Hey everyone! We’d like to thank you all again for coming out to JASA’s first Spring Semester GBM. We hope you all enjoyed the games and snacks provided and hope you are ready for the new semester, because it’s going to be a busy one.
Like we said at the GBM, Soran Bushi practice will begin THIS week Tuesday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with official tryouts Friday at 6 p.m., so practice hard and get on the team for the D.C. Cherry Blossom Festival and Taste of Japan!
Speaking of Taste of Japan, committee sign-up sheets were available at the GBM for anyone who wanted to help out with the event. If you signed up, thanks a lot! We look forward to working with you. If you didn’t sign-up and wanted to, don’t worry. Contact us on our Facebook with what you’d like to do, and we’ll make sure to get back to you. We’ll need people to help us with food distribution, booth management and more! So let us know if you’d like to help and we’ll get you in with the team!
Other committees we have up and open to members are our fund raising committee, Soran Bushi candidates, and our annual charity wiffle ball team. If you are interested in any of these, jut drop us a message on Facebook, or contact firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, e-mail, and committee you want to be a part of.
We have a lot of interesting events planned for this semester. From karaoke in College Park, to dancing at the D.C. Cherry Blossom Festival, this semester won’t be short of things to do. We look forward to seeing you all at our Soran practice. Good luck!
